About the studio
A studio of one, by design.
CDG is a studio of one. I do the work. When you hire CDG, you work directly with me.
Marc A. Reynolds · Founder
A technical mind. A creative life. A lot of different worlds.
My experience runs from the data center to the recording room, from cloud sales to a band’s live show. I have spent three decades in enterprise technology, including four years in cloud sales, alongside hands-on data center work and director-level business development. I know the infrastructure behind a business, and I know what it takes to explain its value to someone who has other things on their mind.
I have made podcasts, engineered audio, produced videos, and filmed and photographed a band. In 2012, a mini documentary I made helped launch a career. Those projects taught me to listen closely, notice what other people miss, and find the story that makes someone worth paying attention to.
My business education also happened on Main Street. I bought and sold vintage and antique furniture and goods, where an eye for character mattered as much as knowing what something was worth. I helped keep a coffee shop afloat by becoming its source supplier for beans. Sometimes the work a business needs most is simply finding a practical way to keep it moving.
That mix has put me alongside musicians, small-business owners, technology teams, and customers with very different priorities. I like getting to know how people think, what they care about, and what they are trying to make happen. It is hard to tell someone’s story well without first taking a real interest in them.
CDG brings those experiences together. I can get into the technical details, shape the story, make the images, and build the thing. I bring curiosity, a practical eye, and the habit of doing the work myself—from understanding the problem to handing over something useful.
I am based in Morris County, New Jersey and work with businesses across the region and beyond.
How I work
Four commitments.
Straight answers
You hear what is working and what is not, in plain language. That honesty is the service.
One accountable person
The person who diagnoses the problem is the person who builds the fix. Nothing gets lost in a hand-off.
Only what is worth building
If the right answer is a small fix, or no project at all, you will hear that first.
You own it
Code, content, accounts, and decisions are documented and handed over. No lock-in.
Next step
Start with an honest diagnosis.
Tell me where things stand. You will get a straight read on what is working, what is not, and what is worth doing next, whether or not you end up working with me.
